Wellbrow Hercules FP50754C*
Hercules has the nicest temperament anyone could ever wish for. Over the last few years we always had an easy
day out showing Hercules and a good result. Everywhere we took him he got loads of attention - people could not
stay away from him. He is a traditional fell pony, small, deep bodied, loads of hair and lots of good flat
bone with a nice little pony head.
His show record to date is:
1st yearling colt, Barningham 1998.
1st yearling Mottram agricultural show 1998 (Open Mountain and Moorland class).
1st yearling and reserve Mountain and Moorland champion Northern Counties Ponies Association red rose Summer show 1998.
He was shown once as a two year old at the Fell Pony Society Stallion Show where he was 2nd in the two year old class and
reserve young stock champion.
He was unshown as a three year old.
As a four year old in 2001, due to foot and mouth restrictions and being farmers, Hercules was only shown 3 times.
His results were:
1st Mountain and Moorland and champion Ribble Valley ponies UK qualifier held at Croft Top.
2nd and reserve champion at the ponies UK qualifier at the Northern masters Birchinley manor.
1st Mountain and Moorland and champion Northern Counties Ponies Association foal and ponies UK qualifier at Osbaldeston.
He was broken to ride Summer of 2001 and used for shepherding until leaving us in November.
Hercules has been sold to a lovely home on the Wiltshire/Somerset borders. He now belongs to Helen
& Michael Burke at www.langweathriddenponies.co.uk
We hope that Helen and Michael get as much pleasure with Hercules as we did and wish them every success
in the future both with Hercules and the rest of their team. |
